Wordless Wednesday - The Tree, Before and After

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas :-D

So, as most of you know our tree has had a small alteration since my brothers (and maybe me) got a hold of it!

Before:

Freckles the Dog
Wasn't she pretty?

After:

Freckles the Dog
As Domeek said "URG!"

Freckles the Dog
Maybe some hanging stuff will help?? Hm, what do you think?

Freckles the Dog
Do you see Ginger?

Freckles the Dog
We tried!! :-/

On a more positive note, look at all my cards!!!! :-D

Uh, yeah...well, I told Domeek "It is what it is!" She however didn't find it as comforting as I did! :-)

PeeS: You might have noticed that I have a new widget on the right hand side...over there ----> The Santa Paws Drive is a virtual Christmas toy drive that is dedicated specifically to pets, the first of its kind! :-D They are in their fourth year and have chosen 6 different non-profit, no-kill rescues from all over the World to distribute all the toys and money received!! If you can, please think about making a needy kitty or puppy exceptionally happy for Christmas (through the Santa Paws Drive or anyway you can)! :-) Thank you!!

  2. Our local shelter has a wish list, so we chose something from that and sent it to them. Maybe other shelters do that!

  5. Smart move! We use to have a cat that loved to climb into the Christmas Tree. And considering her weight...Crash! Wagging Wordless Wednesday!

  10. Looks like the tree has been very bad to be kept behind a fence. Tree's can be like that, ya gotta watch them And I can see kitty is making sure it does not slip out the door.

  14. What a great idea! We might be putting up our tree this weekend. I'm not sure if we should be worried about Badger and Mushroom eating it or knocking it over.

  17. Dear Goose,

Thanks for the advice about not eating the tree - I see you know that from experience! The people don't need to worry about me; I am a Good Dog, especially since Santa is coming soon.

But the Cat named Jack? That's a whole other story. He is NOT being Good for Santa, and he is eating the tree! And the shiny things! And the decorations!!

Do I need to worry about this? Santa will know it's not me, right?

I love all your cards. Hey look - it's ME hanging there with all your cards! You got the one I sent for you! Yay!!

  20. Oh well, if you have to put a fence around the tree at least it looks nice with some decorations on it. Maybe you could add some lights too?

  24. Ginger looks pretty sad about the new tree decoration. I think it makes it look like the tree has been into mischief and needs a time out :)
