Just a short post, we've got a whole of lot of stuff going on right now at home...so we're (aka I'm) unfortunately having to neglect my online buds!
My tummy is finally starting to feel almost 100% again, but I've been subjected to the "Bland Food" diet for the past week...take a look though, I'm not really complaining!! ;-)
I'm scoring lots of boiled chicken, sweet potatoes/pumpkin, rice, and I even get a little cottage cheese! Where has this diet been all my life?! ;-)
We're now seriously debating going "homemade" with my diet, especially since as a major pain the tush - picky eater, I'm devouring the entire bowl...so we're in the research mode right now, while I continue with my bland adventure!
This afternoon, Domeek came home to find a package for little old me on the doorstep too!!!
It was my fantastic Kong prize from my buds Reilly and Denny over at Cowspotdog!! WooHoo!!
Check out the swag!! :-D I kept the Sweet Potato treats and gave my cousin, Pippi, the meaty treats...cause who doesn't love more noms?!
Thank you Reilly and Denny for, what will be, absolutely delicious nummies!
Just don't mind the expression, I'm just mad that Domeek won't let me have any treats right now! :-P Boo Domeek!
Hope that you all are doing awesomely!! We'll be around at the end of the week too...stay good until then!
Your bland diet looks pretty delish Goose. Shiner and Nibblet both love those sweet potato stix... we're almost out!
ReplyDeleteGlad your tummy is getting better. All in all the bland diet is not so bad.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Glad your bland diet is going well Goose. Hmmm sweet potato treats. See you at the end of the week. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Poor little freckles - it sounds like you might have some food allergies going on....they are so not fun. Stick to your 'bland diet" little guy and let the tummy recover. You are such a sweetie sharing your treats with your cousin.
ReplyDeleteI went a couple of weeks with nothing to eat but boiled potatoes- no seasoning or sauce. Blecch. It was pancreatitis.
ReplyDeleteYou are one lucky pup - the collies are drooling just looking at what's in your bowl! lol
ReplyDeleteThat bland diet looks pretty good! Congrats on the prize!

We're happy to hear that your tummy is feeling better! The bland diet is popular in our home too. On the rare occasion that somebody is eating that, they eat it all up really fast. We just use boiled and rinsed meat with brown rice.
ReplyDeleteWow, you've been spoiled, Goose. The bland diet does sound tasty and I'm glad your tummy is feeling better! Congratulations on winning the Kong prize and you're one generous pup for sharing with cousin Pippi.
