Happy Friday Everyone!! :-D
I hope that most of you have today and Monday off...Domeek's at home right now!! Yeah (of course I'm celebrating this long weekend by napping the entire morning, hehehe)!
For some reason I've been seeing a ton of different dog related products on the internets this week, some of which are really nifty, so I thought I'd share a few with you guys!
I know that a bunch of your pawrents are crafty types, so how about a fantabulous origami dog book? Apparently even those who are new to paper folding art can figure out how to create your best friend's image! :-D
Paper Pups by Hiroshi Hayakaw contains 35 different dog breeds and only costs $9.87 on Amazon (Domeek is putting this one on the Christmas remember list)! :-)
Most of the artwork in our house is dog or cat related (hahaha, I make sure of it), so when we saw this clean and simple typography image, Domeek and I got a little excited!
If you're not in kindergarten or don't want the entire alphabet, WeaversofSouthsea on Etsy also has each of the individual letters and dog breeds on their own print as well! :-D Me gusta!
Dog Alphabet Poster by WeaversofSouthsea is available on Etsy for $19.00!
This one is for the quilters and sewers among you! ;-) Emily Bond of England has an entire collection of dog related linen fabrics, housewares, and wallpaper inspired by her own beautiful pups!
From setters to terriers, dalmatians to dachshunds, and spaniels to labradors, each has their own whimsical design!
Emily Bond of England fabrics, accessories, and wallpaper aren't cheap, but they are absolutely beautiful. Be sure to check her website out!
Finally, I'm sure most of you have heard about the phenomenon that is Maddie On Things, but I have to put her book here! I just found out that the Maddie Book Tour is coming to San Francisco on September 9th so Domeek and I will be heading out to see both Maddie and Theron then! Luckily they are hosting the event at a dog-friendly bookstore, so all pups are welcomed with open paws!
Their current project (partnered with PurinaOne) is called Why We Rescue, it's a documentary that travels across all 50 states highlighting how pets and rescue animals have transformed human lives for the better! They will be focusing in on one shelter/rescue pet per state and guess what? They need more stories (mainly on the central and west coast)!! :-D Make sure you click on the link above and check out the project, then if you are interested in telling your story click on the Sign Up tab!
I can't wait to hear all about their adventures and meet Maddie!
Maddie on Things by Theron Humphrey is available at Chronicle Books for $15.95
See how many pawesome items people are creating and selling that have been inspired by dogs?! It's pretty incredible! :-D I posted these and more on Pinterest, so make sure you follow me there for more creations!
Have an excellent long weekend everyone! Enjoy the end of summer weather and some quality time with the family!

Wordless Wednesday - Point Isabel
Happy Wednesday Everyone!!
So, this past weekend, Domeek took me to what can only be referred to as "Puppy Mecca" aka Point Isabel Regional Shoreline! We had heard about this magical place online, but had never ventured an hour North to see it for ourselves...that is, until Sunday! :-D
The park is a 23 acre, off leash, marsh land, sea front, non-enclosed area...and I was allowed to go off leash for the first time ever!!! Oh my dog, I couldn't believe that this place was real...the smells, sounds, dogs, people!!! I tell you, if you get the chance to visit...YOU MUST!!! :-D
But what Domeek really loved, was the fact that I behaved beautifully off leash! I didn't run off, I always kept an eye and ear on her, and always returned when she called, which means that we can do it again!! :-)
The park is in Richmond, so you can see (at least on a clear day) the beautiful San Francisco skyline.
Before the leash came off...
After the leash came off...
Whoa, I was exhausted after all that trekking, sniffing, and walking! Thankfully, there's a dog friendly cafe at the entrance (called the Sit & Stay Cafe), so we had a drink and sat for a bit! Aw, it was nice!
I can't wait to get back there again!
Have a great rest of the day guys!

It's Snowing In August!
Happy Sunday Everyone!!
Wowwee, I had the greatest time with cousin Pippi yesterday! We hoped on over to Petco just before lunch and there were already tons of dogs playing and walking around. Luckily Daly City was pretty cool, so the snow lasted a lot longer than if it was near my home.
First we took some time to meet new friends! It's always best to do a quick meet and greet when you get somewhere!
This was Pippi's first experience in snow too...hehe, a bit trepidatious!
My first thought "Um, WTD...no! You go play in that wet white stuff!"
Then, after a bit of coxing, I tried it out! I have just one word that describes snow...Cold!
Thanks to Petco for hosting such a fun event!! Did any of you get out to one?
Ooooooo, the Blogville Calendar Contest is up and running now!!! There's so many awesome photos this year, I hope that we can raise a ton of money!! :-D Unfortunately you can only vote once a day, per IP address, buuuuuuut I'd love to get some of your votes!!
Just scroll to the bottom of the post and find my (or your favorite's) name!!
Thanks in advance guys! :-D

But eventually, I got used to it...I even started walking away from Domeek, saying "Hi" to other pups and people, and at the end, I ran after a ball!! :-D
All in all, it was a good, but cold day! Domeek doesn't think that Pippi or I will have a problem with walking through the snow in Tahoe at Christmas either...but I definitely think that a jacket of some sort will be necessary! ;-)

Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments and suggestions about camping, we're getting so excited!! I've already researched and discovered a campsite, which is just an hour and a half south of home, to try out for the first trip - great park with tons of dog friendly hikes and trails to follow!!
Well I'm off to the Petco Snow event this morning...don't worry, there'll be plenty of photos! ;-)

A Camping We Will Go...
Happy Friday Everyone!! :-D
A couple of random things:
I had such a wonderful time at the dog park last night; I got to meet up with a couple of my oldest friends (Rizzo, Buddy, and Ricco) and run around insanely! It was so much fun, it's just sad that the evenings are coming to a close earlier now...sniff...it was practically dark at 7:45! Aw, the perils of Fall!
I've been loving reading all the blog posts and tweets about all my friends' experiences at BarkWorld.. It looks like such an pawesome conference! I can't wait to hear more!
FYI, on Saturday, Petco is going to be hosting a Summer Snow Day at 8 different stores across the country. The stores are going to be giving away free puppy ice cream, Kong demonstrations, food samples, and will be having training demonstrations...along with...a temporary snow park for your pup!! OMD...I can't wait!! I'm so happy, one of the stores is only about 30 minutes north, so Domeek, Pippi, and me are going to go and have some fun in the snow! :-D Make sure to see if there's a store near you participating!
Camping!
Ok, onto the fun stuff...Domeek and I have finally decided that we are going to start camping! I know, most of you will be saying, but you missed the summer! Pft, no worries, I can't stand the heat - Fall is a waaaay better season anyways! ;-)
So, because we don't have any equipment and no one in our family actually camps, we have a couple of questions for all you camping fans!! :-D
First off - Tents! We'd love to hear what tents and brands you've all been happy with! Currently we're looking at the Coleman Sundome and the Suisse Sport Yosemite...both are in our budget, have pretty good reviews, are the right size/weight, and are readily available. Buuuut, if any of you have had issues or anything with them, we'd love to hear!
Secondly - Camp Stoves! Ok, Domeek has absolutely No experience with these things! So we are running around blind! :-/ Hm! I like food...does anyone have any suggestions that would stop me from starving?! Should we use a single burner, double burner, match start...? The longest time we'd be camping would be a long weekend! Eeek!!
Thirdly - Tips/Suggestions/Randomness/Things You Wish You Knew when it comes to beginning camping (in general)!
Thanks so much in advance guys!! :-D We're looking forward to going, enjoying the great outdoors, hiking, and being one with nature soon!!!

Wordless Wednesday - Surfs Up Dudes!
Happy Wednesday Everyone!!
Hope that you all are having a seriously pawesome Wednesday!! :-D
So, I combined all the videos from this weekend's beach trip and made a fun compilation! Hehehe!
Whenever I see surfers, I automatically think of the Beach Boys and the 1960's...which is why I chose, Surfin Safari by the Beach Boys! Great music!!!

Pacifica Beach
Happy Sunday Everyone!
Oh dog, did I have a blast at the beach yesterday!? :-D First off, we decided to go hiking though the hills of Pacifica. They were soooo high up, I couldn't even see the top when we first started!
You see that orange arrow? That's where we hiked up too! :-D And no, this lovely cement path did not go all the way up the hill! ;-)
Understatement of the year! Hehehe!
I was raring to go at the start!
Yeah, that didn't last for too long!
Oh man, I gotta take a moment dude!
Enjoying the sites and smells!
Up we go!!!
Hip Hip Horray!! We made it to the top!!! :-D I had my doubts, but somewhere near the top, Domeek says that I turned into a mountain goat...then boom, we made it! Hehehe, getting string cheese at the top didn't hurt either! ;-)
Thankfully the trip down was waaaaaaay shorter and easier than the way up (well, for me...Domeek says that the loose gravel was harder going down, but whatever!)! :-) Phew!
After hiking we decided to take a leisurely strong along the beach...if you're a surfer and haven't made it to the Pacifica Beach, then you are seriously missing out guys! :-D There were probably over 100 surfers catching waves while we were there and all of them that we met were incredibly friendly, happy, and had pups themselves!!! It was pawesome!!
I enjoy watching and judging the quality of surfing going on! ;-) After all, I'm a California pup!! Hehehe!
All in all, I had the bestest day that a pup could ever ask for!!! :-D I hope you all did too!!
Have a great day everyone!
PeeS: I have some fun videos coming up, so make sure that you stay tuned!
