Wowwee, I had the greatest time with cousin Pippi yesterday! We hoped on over to Petco just before lunch and there were already tons of dogs playing and walking around. Luckily Daly City was pretty cool, so the snow lasted a lot longer than if it was near my home.
First we took some time to meet new friends! It's always best to do a quick meet and greet when you get somewhere!
This was Pippi's first experience in snow too...hehe, a bit trepidatious!
My first thought "Um, WTD...no! You go play in that wet white stuff!"
Then, after a bit of coxing, I tried it out! I have just one word that describes snow...Cold!
But eventually, I got used to it...I even started walking away from Domeek, saying "Hi" to other pups and people, and at the end, I ran after a ball!! :-D
All in all, it was a good, but cold day! Domeek doesn't think that Pippi or I will have a problem with walking through the snow in Tahoe at Christmas either...but I definitely think that a jacket of some sort will be necessary! ;-)
Ooooooo, the Blogville Calendar Contest is up and running now!!! There's so many awesome photos this year, I hope that we can raise a ton of money!! :-D Unfortunately you can only vote once a day, per IP address, buuuuuuut I'd love to get some of your votes!!
Just scroll to the bottom of the post and find my (or your favorite's) name!!
Thanks in advance guys! :-D
Snow can be very fun fun fun. I like snowballs. There sure were a lot of great looking dogs that you met. Voting is so hard. I guess I will just have to come back each day. I have so many favorites.

Walking in the snow is okay....as long as you get a prime position in front of the heater, or fire when you come in!

Pacifica and Daly City can be cold enough to produce snow in the summer. Where were you, Serramonte??
ReplyDeleteSo true Kyla!! :-) No, it was the Petco Unleashed at Westlake Center. Nice, but small store!
DeleteWow what a great idea for Petco. Daddy works as a rep in some Petcos. He's going to see if they can do this. Thanks for sharing your great day with us.
ReplyDeleteThat is totally cool Goose! What an awesome idea from Petco.

ReplyDeleteGoose - you will definitely be getting a vote from me! You look most excellent in that tall green grass - I love this pic!! :)
ReplyDeleteI did not know there was snow at the Petco! Gosh, now I am mad that I didn't know anything about that - I would have definitely brought Blueberry. Alas, I guess we'll just have to wait until winter here when we can drive up to some. Looks like you had fun though!
Don't eat the yellow snow!!!!
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Dear Goose,
ReplyDeleteSNOW?!?!?!?!??!!! You found SNOW?!? Oh wow oh wow! Snow is my all-time-favourite-ever thing! My person says I still need to wait many months, until Nature is done making Fall, before I get any snow. This is not fair.
I am glad you enjoyed the snow, at least a little bit. But, perhaps, maybe you could send me some? Just a little bit for my yard? Just enough for rolling in and for my person to make Snow Balls for chasing?
Do you think perhaps you could do that for me?
Licks,
Cobi
