But then tonight, this happened...
I am not only embarrassed but disappointed in Domeek, I thought we were buds! As you can see I have the "We Are Not Amused" expression on my face! And I can't believe that she pulled out the camera in my weakest moment! :-(
But, while I dry off, let's get to Treasure Thursday! :-D
This week I decided to focus on rescue groups that specifically help out a breed that's had a rough time in the past couple of decades...the pit bull! I've got a load of pittie friends that I absolutely adore, plus I believe in punishing the deed not the breed! ;-)
Updates from last week!
- Pretty, the gorgeous rottweiler from Berkeley Animal Care, is amazingly still at the shelter and available for adoption! We don't know how long she still has, so if you are interested, please check out her information and contact the shelter ASAP!
- Buddy, the wonderful cattle dog from San Antonio Animal Care Services, has disappeared off of their website. I looked into their Facebook page and couldn't find any adoption or potential adopter information; I hope for the best, but can't say. :-(
- Honey, the sweet-natured Staffordshire terrier mix from New York's Animal Care and Control, is incredibly still available! Again, we don't know how long she still has at the shelter, so if you are interested please take a look at her information and contact the shelter ASAP!
If you are interested in the gorgeous and lovely Tony, please take a look at his page! But, if you are interested in a female or perhaps even a kitty friend, they have what you are looking for! More adoptable pitties, friends, and kitties can be found here!
My second featured pup comes from the New York area as well, Albany to be exact. Chablis, the wonderfully smiley pit bull, is currently being adopted through Out of the Pits, Inc! They seek to educate the public about the true nature of the American Pit Bull Terrier and to make them aware that it used to be one of America's favorite breed of dogs. Their efforts are aimed at restoring the breed to its former position of esteem in the hearts and minds of people everywhere.
If you are interested in the active and beautiful Chablis, please take a look at her information! However, if you are interested in a more laid back, couch potato type of a pup or perhaps a male, look no further than there other awesome pit bulls and friends! Find their other adoptables here!
My final featured pittie, Jilly, is a gem of a pup that can be found near me (Oakland, California) at the ever popular and fantastic BadRap Rescue! They have become a nationally recognized resource for both dog owners and shelters, offering desirable pets for adopters, training classes for dog owners and presentations and professional consultations to animal welfare leaders around the country.
Look at her adorable self!! If you would like more information and other photos of Jilly, please take a look at BadRap's website. If you are interested in an older dog or a male, have no fear, BadRap has lots of amazing dogs to choose from! See for yourself!
As always, thanks so much for checking out all of my amazing featured adoptables!
Now that I'm dry, I'm off to bed! Have a great night and morning everyone!
Oh man.....just when you were flyin' high thinkin' life is wonderful.....you came down with a thud. Or should we say splash.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

DeleteBath day sucks... Mine was yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain Dougall!
DeleteJust when you thought everything was going well - bam! Right into the bath! Next time you know not to trust them when they give you bacon!
ReplyDeleteNo kidding Finn, it's not fair to destroy my favorite treat!
DeleteYou were having such a good day I'm so sorry it was ruined by a bath. I do think you look cute with your "We are not amused" look.
ReplyDeleteCindy
Hehe, thanks Cindy! :-)
DeleteGasp! A bath! Don't tell Blueberry - but she's getting one this weekend. Teeheehee!
ReplyDeleteNooooo...run Blueberry run!!! ;-)
DeleteA bath right before bed! That's just cruel! :)
ReplyDeleteDomeek always switches it up, so I don't know when one's coming! Right before bed, when I wake up, when she comes home...sneaky, right?!
DeleteYou got all that bacon and then she bathed you? Was it worth it? We don't mind baths too much and get them once a week.
ReplyDeleteYour friends,
Murphy & Stanley
That's cause you're weird water pups! ;-) I think that the bacon might have been worth it...there was a lot of bacon!

ReplyDeleteNot at all!
DeleteOOh, love the "stink eye" you're giving from the sink! We think it's wonderful that you're featuring adoptable pets! Mom thinks Tony is very dapper! Hope that they all find their forever homes very soon!
