Friday (Ok, I'm Super Late - Tuesday) Links

As most of you regulars know, I usually do these link list things on Fridays, but I was super excited about visiting Domeek at work, so I wanted to write about that last week!

Fear not - even though it is Tuesday, I still have a list of goodies for you all to check out! :-)

  • So, you classify yourself as a Dog Person and/or a Cat Person, but what does that scientifically say about you? Via Bunny's Blog!
  • Since yesterday was Labor Day, Tales and Tails decided to salute all of the different types of working dogs out there! There were even a couple I hadn't heard about!
  • Some of you might have seen this image floating around the great web, but I thought that it's so awesome that everyone I know has to see it! A new way of distinguishing pups who need their space! :-) Spread the word!
  • Oh my god, did you guys know that there is a Dog Scouts of America?!  I want to earn badges and learn survivor skills!! And there's a group near me..."Domeek"!!!
  • If you live in Ohio, mark your calendars - September 8th the Avon Lake Municipal Pool officially goes to the dogs!
  • Life + Dog Magazine is looking for 50 dogs who are changing the world around them! Are you one of them? Submit an entry here!

You remember that I got a new lamby stuffy yesterday from Miss Ellen?

Freckles the Dog

Well, Destructo Puppy appeared last night and...well...voila, Lamby got de-stuffed! Hehehehe...

Freckles the Dog

Don't worry, Lamby is still beloved, just more "Freckles" now!

Have a great rest of the day!

  3. Sometimes in order to express love for a stuffy - it has to be de-stuffed. I'd like to think if that had been an actual lamb, you would have been kinder. Ahem, right? ;)

  4. Good work on lamby! If your mum can do a bit of surgery, you'll be able to destuff him again....and again...and again...

    1. No probs Dougall, I loved that idea too! :-) No need to call out ahead of time or worry what others might do - a yellow ribbon means give me some space please!

  7. MOM and I enjoy Tales and Tails very much. And way to go Goose brother on the destuffing the lamb. They are still as fun without the eners.
