Wordless Wednesday - It's Officially Pumpkin Season

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!

I'm sure you've already noticed, but I've been mia for the last week...we can all blame Domeek, who just started a new job! She's super busy right now (my alone time with her has severely been impacted too), but it will eventually calm down and we'll be back to our regular schedule soon!

This weekend was the official start to Pumpkin season in our house!!! We started off in Half Moon Bay...and then came home to decorate!

I had a seriously pawesome time, except for the obligatory costume photo (which I have to retake because I wasn't being "cooperative")!!!

Monday Mischief...One Day Late!

We're a bit late with this one, but I wanted to share a little inside secret with all you beautiful pups and people!

I've mentioned my love affair with my kitty sister, Little Bit before...generally I show pictures like these:

Yes, you can insert "Ooooooo's" and "Awwwwww's" now!

Buuuuuuuuuut, what you don't see is that I can be a major butt to her too! ;-) Domeek says she doesn't understand why Little Bit puts up with all my cr@p...I just tell her, it's cause she loves me! Hehehe!

Yep, this happens all the time...morning, noon, and (my personal favorite) midnight!! We get into it all the time...but after it's all said and done, we end up like this:

Happy Monday and Tuesday Everyone!!!

I can't believe it, but Domeek and I met almost 2 years ago! I like to say that it was love at first sight...however she sees things a bit differently.

She likes to reminisce about being kept up all night long for 3 months (it wasn't my fault at all, I swear, it was my siblings), having to clean up our messes all day long, and constantly having to give tons of love to each of us (where's the problem?).

Now, as you all know, we can't get enough of each other!

Of course, my friends over at the Uncommon Dog have another perspective on how humans became BFF's with their pups! They recently contacted me regarding a fantabulous info-graphic that they just created called "How Dogs Became Our Best Friends".

Research and scientific findings have recently defined how we became an integral part of human society...I'm personally a big fan of how they refer to us as rescuers, trackers, watchers, and guides! Yep, I can definitely see it!!! ;-)

My First Experience With Camping

Oh my dog, I went on my very first camping trip this weekend...all the way to the...backyard!! :-D It was soooo exciting!

Domeek set up our tent in about 15 minutes, which to be quite honest, was much quicker than I gave her credit for! ;-) Hehehe!

I, of course, helped her set everything up! First, I sat on top of the tent when it was laying down on the ground, then I pulled out the stakes on two sides while she was putting the poles up, and then I kept jumping in the tent when she was putting the rainfly up...muahaha, she was very proud, I could tell! :-D

This was my very first venture inside...while Domeek was still putting the tent up! 

Oooo, this isn't too bad!

Yep, the tent looks gigantic comparing it to me...but Domeek says that there's no way in hell that 4 people could fit...she says that me and her were a bit tight! ;-)

Off to bed we go!

I'm EXCITED!!! EEEEEKKKKK!!!!

Unfortunately there was a lot of noise last night...tons of dogs in our neighborhood are kept outside during the night, so they kept on barking! :-( It was hard to go to sleep, but when the Sandman finally arrived, boy did I zonk out! ;-) 

I was a good boy and stayed on the bed all night long! It wasn't until about 7 am when I finally woke up, asked to go out for a pee, and then came back on in and fell right back asleep again! Hehehe!

Sleep again Domeek?

Um, yes...definitely!!! 

All in all I had a fantastic time!! Oh yes, we will definitely be going camping again! :-D In fact, I can't wait to go into actual nature and hike and camp all weekend long!!

Wordless Wednesday - Hidden Gems In Town

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!

On Sunday cousin Pippi and I went for a hike through the Redwood City hills...we had a fabulous yet exhausting time, especially since this park is a hidden gem in the middle of the city!

The park is 42 acres of hills, loose gravel, streams, and redwoods!

Yeah, I totally fell in the water!

Luckily we ended the adventure with a trip to Starbucks...there's nothing better than exercising, working your tush off, then licking up some whip cream! ;-)

It's Snowing In August!

Happy Sunday Everyone!!

Wowwee, I had the greatest time with cousin Pippi yesterday! We hoped on over to Petco just before lunch and there were already tons of dogs playing and walking around. Luckily Daly City was pretty cool, so the snow lasted a lot longer than if it was near my home.

First we took some time to meet new friends! It's always best to do a quick meet and greet when you get somewhere!

This was Pippi's first experience in snow too...hehe, a bit trepidatious!

My first thought "Um, WTD...no! You go play in that wet white stuff!"

Then, after a bit of coxing, I tried it out! I have just one word that describes snow...Cold!

But eventually, I got used to it...I even started walking away from Domeek, saying "Hi" to other pups and people, and at the end, I ran after a ball!! :-D

All in all, it was a good, but cold day! Domeek doesn't think that Pippi or I will have a problem with walking through the snow in Tahoe at Christmas either...but I definitely think that a jacket of some sort will be necessary! ;-)
