Bark Box and Park Time

Happy Friday Everyone! TGIF!!! :-D

Two pawesome things happened today, first: my Bark Box came (WooHoo!!!), and secondly: I got to go to the park in the daylight on a workday! Hehehe, sounds simple enough, but until the daylight started to change, that didn't happen too often! ;-)

Freckles the Dog

It's always super exciting to open my package each month! I hear the mailman drop it on the doorstep, then I can't stop trying to open the door!! Hehehe!

Freckles the Dog

Ahhhhhh...open the box!!!!

Freckles the Dog

This month's box was apparently curated by a lady from Elle Magazine who likes to tell people what to do...something about advice! Anyways, I got two different toys, two treats, and a poop bag holder. And do you know what...one of my toys (the mousey) has already been taken away from me! WTD?!

Freckles the Dog

If you listen to Domeek, she claims that I immediately started to rip the felt off and tried to eat it...but I was just trying to test the quality of the product, I swear, that's all!!! :-( So now cousin Pippi has two mouseys to play with...pft...and I have none!!!!

This is my disbelief face (or terror of Ginger being behind me)!!!

Luckily when Domeek got home from work this evening, the sun was still super bright, so we hopped in the car and went to the puppy park to enjoy it!! :-D

Freckles the Dog

Initially I didn't want to really play, I just walked around and felt sorry for myself...but then a couple of my friends dropped by!

Freckles the Dog

This is a new friend who kept running up to different dogs and then lay down right in front of them, weirdo! Hehehe!

Freckles the Dog

We both found something really smelly and disgusting to roll around in...hehehe, it was so much fun!! ;-)

Freckles the Dog

Finally my best friend, Rizzo, dropped by!! So me and her started to go running around, crazy, and boxing each other!! It was a pawesome time!!

I hope that you all had a wonderful day too!!

PeeS: On Saturday morning, Cousin Pippi and me are going to an Easter biscuit hunt that supports Palo Alto's Animal Services!! I went last year with one of my Meetup groups (that aren't going this year) and had a wonderful time, so I can't wait to go again!!

Photos to come!! ;-)

  1. Aww, sorry your human had to take your mouse away. I took Beamer's away too because he kept nibbling at it. I'm going to have to monitor him when he plays with it.

The egg hunt sounds like fun!

  3. We think our sun must have moved to your house. It's not up as long and our morning walks are getting later and later. We don't go for evening walks any more. (But we get mid-day walks because it's cooler.)

That Bark Box looks great. We think you should have tested the mousey....if it's a sample they're going to sell, don't they want expert testing?

  5. OMD...that face of disbelief is priceless!!!Talk about capturing the moment!! That was great!! Max never plays with toys anyway so I am saving the BarkBox toys for my granddog, Chloe (aka Beans) but this mouse went to Max's bodyguard Thunder Kitty who loved it too! :)

  11. Gosh - if it is YOUR box then you should get EVERYTHING that is in there! Hmph. I'm going to report this to the authorities at once!

I am glad you had fun with your friends to take your mind off of the mistreatment you suffered earlier. ;)

  13. After losing your felt mouse, we're glad you got to go out to the park and play. Have fun at the Easter biscuit hunt, that sounds great.

We've been wondering if Domeek is still job searching and any luck with a dog friendly place yet?

  14. Wasn't this Bark Box a good one? I'm sorry you didn't get to keep that mousie :( But at least you did get to go to the puppy park! It looks like you had a great time :)

And this Biscuit Hunt sounds pretty great too! You know my mom was thinking about naming me Biscuit? I think Remy fits me better though :)
