Happy Thursday/Almost Friday everyone!!
My new Sherpa airline carrier came in the mail two days ago, you should have seen me! I was so excited to get the box open and as soon as it was, I proceeded to completely ignore it! ;-) Hehehe! But this morning before Domeek went to work, I decided to give it a try...it's shorter than my old SturdiBag, but I'm pretty sure it will do!
I did fall in love with my new Sleepytime Tonic though, the smell is intoxicating...yum!!! It's supposed to be a natural calming solution for both traveling and anxiety problems. I haven't tried it out yet, but I do love the smell!!
It's time for updates from last week's Treasure Thursday!
- Sherman, the beautiful and petite Australian Shepherd from DASH in Dallas, Texas is still (amazingly) available, so if you would like to take a look at him, please visit his personal page!
- Ansel, the wonderful Schnauzer from Schnauzer Love Rescue in Alabama, is also still available and needing a wonderful forever home so if you would like to take a look at him, please visit his page!
- Rider, the fantastic and active senior Wire Fox Terrier from ATRA Rescue in Los Angeles, is crazily available too...so please visit their available adoptions and search for Rider!
Today, I decided to focus on three awesome rescue groups that find desperate and needy pups from outside the country (Taiwan, Costa Rica, and Mexico) and then send them over to the United States and Canada to find perfect forever homes!
My first featured pup's name is Hamlet, a beautiful dog who was found wandering the streets of Mexico City, currently being fostered and adopted out by Save A Mexican Mutt Rescue in San Miguel de Allende (however they foster throughout Mexico, USA, and Canada). Save A Mexican Mutt, or SAMM, is a dog rescue and adoption organization in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. Dogs are rescued from the streets, local kill shelters and pounds where they've suffered from neglect, abuse, starvation and illness. They are placed in loving foster homes, fully vetted, and brought back to good health.
If you are interested in learning more about Hamlet and seeing a couple more photos, please take a look at their adoptables page and then search for Hamlet's name! However, if you are interested in seeing other dogs, breeds, and genders Save A Mexican Mutt has a plethora of dogs available that need wonderful homes!
My second featured dog's name is Fei Fei (I love his name) who is a gorgeous Taiwanese street dog found and rescued by Salty Dog Rescue in Seattle, Washington. Salty Dog Rescue is dedicated to saving dogs that have been abandoned, abused or neglected both locally and internationally. From dogs saved on the streets of Taiwan to local dogs in need, regardless of breed, our foster based non-profit organization cares passionately and will work endlessly to rescue, rehabilitate and responsibly match dogs with their forever families.
If you are interested in this goofy and gorgeous boy (look at that marking on his eye), please feel free to take a look at his personal page! Salty Dog Rescue also has a ton of other pups to choose from, including local rescues from the Seattle area, their available adoptions page can be found here!
My last featured pup's name is Sugar, who is a beautiful and small Costa Rican street pup, who was found wandering the street of Nuevo Arenal in Costa Rica by the Costa Rica Dog Rescue, located in both Costa Rica and Los Angeles! The mission of Costa Rica Dog Rescue is to help rescue, care & place homeless dogs from Costa Rica into loving homes. Whether you live in Costa Rica or across the country, we have wonderful dogs who are looking for a loving home.
If you are interested in the playful and gorgeous Sugar, please take a look at her personal page! Or, if you are interested in learning more about the other dogs that are available with this rescue, please take a look at their available adoptables page!
Thank you, as always, for coming and taking a look at all of my featured available dogs!! Hopefully we can help adopt some wonderful dogs out!!!
Have a great Friday everyone!!
My MOM would love to know how that tonic works. I hope you will tell us. Not sure why she wants to know. Have a blessed day Goose.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
pee s- do you ever think others think I am talking to myself? You know with the whole Goose thing. hehhe
Bahaha! I hope not!! ;-)
DeleteI'll definitely let you know how the tonic goes!
You would have been more interested in that package if it contained treats....just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
I completely agree guys! :-D
DeleteLet us know if that tonic works!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Will Do! :-D
DeleteFYI - "Fei Fei" means "chubby" in Mandarin, which is particularly amusing because the dog is pretty thin.
ReplyDeleteThat's ironic, isn't it?! Thanks for sharing!!
DeleteOoooh - sleepy time tonic. Do you think they make that stuff for our peeps too??
ReplyDeleteOooo, yeah, I might want to add that to Domeek's drinks...get to do some fun stuff!!
DeleteCalming solution, huh? Maybe we need a couple gallons of that stuff!
ReplyDeleteYour friends,
Murphy & Stanley
Hehehe...you are both pups...that's why!!!
DeleteThose drops sound like a great idea! I wonder if they work for puppers who don't like storms...
ReplyDeleteI think that they're partially made for stresses like thunderstorms! So they more than likely will!
DeleteI really want to meet those two dogs, Sherman & Ansel! If I could, I'd take both of them
ReplyDeleteCotton
:-D Wouldn't that be wonderful?! I like them both too!!
