Playing Catch-Up

Happy Monday Everyone...hehehe, does anyone really have a "happy Monday"?

Freckles the Dog

With everything going on, this week is totally going to fly by, I just know it!! First off, we have my BarkBox coming either today or tomorrow, woohoo!! Hopefully it's a little more indestructible than last month's! ;-)

Then we have Thanksgiving on Thursday, which means that Domeek and I are baking on Wednesday night! I'm in charge of the green bean casserole and cranberry coffee cake...can you say "Yummy!?" I know I can! ;-) Sadly, I'm not invited to the big shindig though. I'm still sulking about this one! I can't believe that they don't want the adorable, high energy Freckles running insanely around their beautiful house trying to steal (hm, or beg for) the turkey...can you?! :-( Domeek's promised that she'll bring me back lots of leftovers so that we can have our very own Thanksgiving feast! But it's still not fair!!

Then there's this thing called Black Friday, I have absolutely no clue what that's about...but apparently Petco has some specials going on, so I get some fun stuff when Domeek gets home! :-D Yeah!!

See, lots of special, no-work, kind of things happening this week! Are you all doing anything for the Holiday?

Freckles the Dog

Since I don't have to spend 3 hours in traffic on Thanksgiving, I plan on playing with all my toys instead! ;-)

I forgot to let you all know about two upcoming fun events! First up is Family Dog Rescue's Alumni Holiday party that is taking place on December 16th!! Domeek is hoping to catch up with all her past foster dogs and shelter pups...while I'm hoping to run into some of my siblings!! Oh my dog, I haven't seen any of them in almost 10 months, so I hope that one or all of them come to the party!!! There's also going to be lots of yummy food (for the pups...not just for the humans) and gift bags!! Hehehe!! Yeah!!

Secondly, Domeek just signed me up for Basic Agility classes that are going to start in the New Year! Oh man, I've been begging her to let me join one of these since Puppy 2...but my school doesn't let you sign up until you're one year old (hurumph!)!! So now that I'm 1...I can join in all the fun! Domeek says that I have to watch my knee though and if any problems arise, then I have to stop going...but I'm not going to think about that! I can't wait - tunnels, platforms, weavey sticks, tugging, and running, who wouldn't want to take this class?! :-D

Freckles the Dog

Any ways, I have lots of destructo puppy stuffs to do (I've practically sent Mr. Bone to the trash bag), so I'm going to go now! You guys have an awesome rest of the day!!!

  2. Sounds like lots of fun stuff Goose! I'll probably cook some food at my house. Then go visit my grandparent's and eat some more food. Hopefully I can take a nap. Turkey makes me sleepy.

  3. You do have a busy week. I am doing something fun on Thanksgiving. MOM and I always go camping and hiking and fishing. This will be my 12th year and MOM's 29th. It is tons of fun, just me and my MOM. But as you may know this year I am taking Belle with us. Belle and I have hiked and camped before and it is always a blast. I know Domeek will make sure she brings home great left overs (which I hear are even better than the original stuffs).
    Blessings,
    Goose

  9. Abby, Holly, Ryder and Kori feel your pain...they have to stay home too! But little Scarlett, since it's her first Thanksgiving, was invited to the family dinner!

The collies are wondering about this Black Friday thing too! Ryder thinks he wants to try it. He's hoping to have his paws firmly planted on the concrete outside Petco for the opening...but mom said he's too young to be exposed to that craziness! BOL

  10. Freckles you are going to be exhausted after all that eating and playing! We hope you and Domeek have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mom was wondering if Domeek would be willing to share the recipe for her cranberry coffee cake please - mom is a big baker - she loves getting new recipes.

    1. Of course she can! She stole it from a cooking magazine in the first place...so she'd love to spread the wealth of recipe! Let me know your email address and I'll forward it along to her!

  11. I have only one piece of advice when you start agility - do NOT jump off the high beam even though that may seem like fun. Cause of your knee, that would not be good. Oh, and also - HAVE FUN!!! Blueberry loves agility too - the tunnels are the best! Can't wait to hear how you do when you start going!
